Way2B1 was created to provide a secure platform to manage the family ecosystem. Review these topics to get started with the platform.
- Setting up your account - Start here if you are brand new
- Navigation - Understand the layout of your home page
- Notifications - Learn how to turn on text and email notifications for different action items
- Teams and Users - Set permissions, share, and collaborate
- Basic Workflows - Start transitioning your workflows to Way2B1
- Add Way2B1 to your mobile device
Setting up your account
- You should have received an email with the title "Welcome to Way2B1". Click Accept Invitation.
- Create a password or select Google SSO if applicable
- Selecting Google SSO will allow you to use your Google credentials on your Way2B1 instance and can bypass the rest of the instructions.
- Signing in with Google will also enable you to use your Google account photo as your user icon
- After creating a password, you will receive an email message with a verification code. Enter the 6-digit code as prompted.
If you don't receive an email with your verification code, contact us or your instance admin.
Navigation
- Home - Find your Queue, Activity Feed and Recently Viewed items
- Domains - Opens up the list of domains and pages
- Decisions - Manage approval workflows
- Tasks - Manage tasks and projects
- Create - Create a new page, decision, task, user and more
- Dropdown Menu - Click on your user icon to access Settings, Notifications, Decision Processes, our Help Center and to Logout of your account
Notifications
Way2B1 allows each user to choose the types of notifications they receive and also the means of receiving those notifications. The Notifications dashboard is accessible from anywhere in the platform by clicking on your user icon on the top-right corner of your screen and selecting "Notifications" from the dropdown menu.
As a best practice, we recommend that active users have at minimum the Queue Summary Email turned on. This will reduce your notifications to one per day and will list all of the items in your Queue.
Teams and Users
Using Teams allows you to manage permissions on a large scale. You will utilize teams when sharing Tasks, Requests, or Pages that you create.
Instead of sharing items by adding users one by one, you can share items with entire Teams. When a user is added or removed from a Team, the permissions will update accordingly.
Managing Teams and Users is done in Settings. You must be an Admin to invite new users and manage teams.
Basic Workflows
- Start each day in your Queue to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks
- Pages are a single point of access to assets and entities containing important information across family operations
