Effective collaboration while maintaining family privacy are key to Way2B1. Information on the platform must be specifically shared with a User in order for them to have access to it. However to expedite this process you are able to share items by adding individual Users or entire Teams. Read further to learn more about sharing:
Sharing permissions are available as:
- Owner - Can see, edit, delete, and share with other users
- If you create something, you become an Owner
- Editor - Can see and edit an item
- Read Only - Can see the item
If you are an Administrative User who can view all tasks or see all requests, you will automatically be shared.
Domains & Pages
Shared Users in Source can be set individually on each Domain or Page. Add or remove shared users by clicking on the list of users underneath the Title on the Domain or Page.
If someone is shared on the Domain level, they will also be shared on every page within the Domain.
Projects & Tasks
A User will be shared on any Project or Task if:
- They created it
- They are the assignee
- They can see all tasks
Add or remove shared users by clicking on the list of Shared Users.
Requests & Accounting Transactions
A User will automatically be shared on any Decisions Request or Accounting Transaction if:
- They created it
- They are named as an approver in the process that applies to the request
- They are shared on the Legal Entity AND can see all requests for that entity
- They can see all requests
Otherwise the user will need to be shared in order to see the request. Add the User(s) by clicking on the "+" next to the list of Shared Users on the request page.
Legal Entities
Entities can be managed by certain Administrators in Settings in the Legal Entities panel. Click on Users or Teams to add or remove users.
Shared users will simply have the permission to see the name of the Legal Entity when mentioned on the platform. The ability to see all requests and transactions for the entity can be turned on in the same modal by checking the box to the left of the user icon.
